Examples

Amazing Siblings!

You know those times where you realize what's not really right in your life and what you want to change?! Well that happened for me this week. My baby brother, Austin, left for the MTC on Wednesday to study the gospel and learn the language of Spanish before he leaves to teach the people of Panama.

Before Austin left, he was set apart as a Missionary Tuesday night, At the setting apart the stake presidency bore their testimonies, while they were talking about our family and the examples of older brothers and of my mom Austin has, I felt the Spirit so strongly and I know that the love and commitment our family has for each other is because of the faithfulness and keeping of our Heavenly Fathers Commandments. My older brothers and now younger along with my parents have been amazing examples in my life. They have shown me how to shine my light and how happy I can be if i just follow our Heavenly Fathers commandments.  Of course sometimes I roll my eyes when they say I shouldn't do this or that, but i know it is out of love. I have been able to sit back and see their blessings as they follow the lords commandments. I am so grateful for their strong examples and i hope to be an example just like them. I want to stay strong in the church and build my relationship with my Heavenly Father.

I guess what I am trying to say is Tuesday I realized again how important it is to keep our lords commandments and to be that example in others lives, I know that  if we do so the lord will bless us. I not only need to know who I am I need to be able to show people I know who I am.   I know Austin is going to be an amazing missionary because he is learning to rely on the lord and the spirit. I love my little bro and i am kind of excited to start writing to him in Spanish so we can both practice :). I can not believe he is already a missionary...sometimes I still get a little anxiety thinking about it, but i know he is going to be great! I was probably crying my eyes out Tuesday night and Wed when we dropped him off.

Mucho Amor
